Hi guys! Today I’m going to go over my daily makeup routine. Now that summers here and it’s hot out I thought I would go over some of the products I use and how I wear them on my face. Most of the products I’m going to be covering are drugstore and the look is pretty easy to follow so feel free to switch out what you please for something else if you would rather something different.

After washing my face and moisturising with the Nivea Light Moisturising Day Cream  I will dampen my Real Techniques Makeup Sponge  and go in with My foundation.

As it is summer time I am constantly self-tanning so I do mix my foundations. At the moment I use Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation in shade 110 Porcelain and L’Oreal Paris 24Hr Matte foundation in shade 20 Sand. They are both very matte foundations which I prefer at the moment considering my face gets so oily throughout the day.

I then go in with 2 concealers.

I use the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade fair under my eyes but only on the very darkest of areas for coverage as it oxidises quite badly and turns orange and I’m really not sure how to stop it. That’s why I then go in with Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer as a brightener underneath my eyes, on my chin, down the bridge of my nose and on my forehead. I then go ahead and set that with a light dusting of Bourjois Rice Setting Powder everywhere. Applying a lot to my nose because it gets so oily and the makeup just slides off of it. Then that’s my base done! It’s very matte but it has to be for it to stay all day.

Once my base is done I let it sit for a little bit and then go in with a bronzer and contour. I like to use the Collection Contour kit to chisle out my cheeks and my forehead and then I bronze up my face with the Bourjois Bronzing Powder.

Next I do my eyeshadow which for that I use The Nudes Primark eyeshadow pallete.

I use the bronze/ orange shade loosely over my eyelid. Then in with the darker brown shade focusing in my crease and then the almost black shade on the outer crease bit with the lighter sparkly shade over my eyelids and inner corners. Once I’ve done that I use The Miss Baby Roll Mascara for my eyelashes and then I carve out my brows and fill them in with The L’Oreal Brow Artist Pomade in the shade Ebony.

I switch Lipstick constantly but I rarely switch from a nude shade. At the moment I’m usually wearing the No7 Moisture Drench Lipstick in the shade Spiced Latte which I am also wearing in this makeup look. It’s very moisturising and well pigmented. Plus it doesn’t smear everywhere so it does me fine.

So… This is the finished makeup look! I did a little bit of highlighting with the highlighter side of the collection contour duo but apart from that this is how it turned out. I do this most days when I have to leave the house. It takes about 45 minutes if I take my time and do it properly so it is rather time consuming but beauty takes time.  : )

So there you have it. If you’d like any further details about the products I used let me know. Do you do something similar with your makeup? Or do you prefer something a bit more out there? Comment below and give this a like. Thank you lovelies!!!! Xx
